Capabilities

What we make

Precision-machined metal components and the finishing that goes with them. Quoted, programmed, cut and inspected under one roof.

01

CNC Machined Components

Production-ready metal parts machined to print, from simple turned features to complex geometries and tight-tolerance work.

  • Milling & turning
  • Complex geometry / multi-setup work
  • Modern CAM programming from your CAD or drawing
02

Prototypes & Small Batch

Single parts, design-validation runs and low-volume batches, without the minimum-order gatekeeping of a large shop.

  • One-off prototype parts
  • Iteration runs during design validation
  • Scales to production as your volume grows
03

Finishing & Post-Processing

Parts arrive finished, not raw. Anodizing, black oxide, passivation, polishing and blasting handled in-house or through vetted partners.

  • Anodize Type II / Type III
  • Passivation & electropolishing
  • Bead / vapor blasting, tumbling, deburring
04

Inspection & Documentation

Parts are measured while the run is going, not only when it finishes. Documentation packages available on request.

  • First-Article Inspection before production
  • In-process inspection throughout the run
  • Final QA on every order before it ships
05

Rush & Quick-Turn

Timing matters most on prototypes and advanced technology programs. When capacity allows, we move fast without cutting inspection.

  • 7 business days for qualifying work
  • Confirmed once we've reviewed your print
  • Direct line to the person running your job
06

Engineering Support

Send a formal drawing, a CAD file, or a rough sketch. We'll tell you what's manufacturable and where cost is hiding before you commit.

  • DFM feedback on tolerances & features
  • Material recommendations for the application
  • Straight answer if we're not the right fit

We work in common grades across all four families — including but not limited to the stock we carry. Tell us the grade your print calls for and we’ll source it.

Tolerance capability±.005"

We hold tolerances as tight as ±.005" as standard, with tighter ±.001" available on critical features by request. Send your prints or specs and we’ll confirm we’re a fit before you commit to anything.

We run and inspect the first piece to confirm it meets spec before full production.

04

Production

The remaining quantity is machined, with in-process inspection throughout.

05

Final QA

Every order is inspected before it ships. No exceptions.

06

Shipping

Parts and any requested documentation are on their way to you.

Turnaround

Typical lead times

Actual lead time depends on part complexity, material availability and quantity. Send your specs and deadline and we'll tell you what's possible.

Job Type Typical Turnaround
Prototype / Repeat Work · in-stock material 7 business days
Standard part · ordered material 1-2 weeks
Complex part · first-run programming 2-4 weeks
Production run · higher volume 4-8 weeks

Production-run timing is quantity-dependent. Lead times reflect single-part or small-quantity orders unless otherwise noted. Contact us for a volume-specific estimate. Times shown are for in-house work; parts requiring outside finishing (anodizing, passivation) may take additional time depending on vendor turnaround.

Quality

Checked at every stage

Inspection happens during the run, not only at the end of it. Every order goes through First-Article Inspection before production begins, in-process inspection throughout, and Final QA before shipping.

  • Dimensional inspection reports on request.
  • Certificates of Conformance on request.
  • Material certifications on request.
  • ISO 9001 certification in progress, targeted 2027.

Tell us what documentation your project requires at the time of quoting and we'll include it with your order.

FAQ

Questions we actually get

What materials and tolerances can you work with?

We machine aluminum, carbon and alloy steel, stainless steel and titanium, in common grades across each family, including grades beyond the stock we normally carry. We hold tolerances as tight as ±.005" as standard, with tighter ±.001" available on critical features by request. If you have a specific material or tolerance requirement, reach out with your prints or specs and we'll confirm we're a fit before you commit to anything.

What industries do you serve?

We specialize in precision CNC machining for oil & gas, aerospace & defense and advanced technology sectors. We also work with general businesses across a range of industries that need precision-machined parts, prototypes or custom components. If you have a machining need, reach out and let's talk about your project, even if your industry isn't listed here.

Are you ISO certified?

We are actively pursuing ISO 9001 certification, targeted for 2027. In the meantime, our workflow already includes First-Article Inspection, in-process inspection and Final QA on every order, and we can provide dimensional inspection reports, certificates of conformance and material certifications on request.

What's your typical turnaround time?

Standard turnaround for most jobs:

  • Prototype / Repeat Work, in-stock material: 7 business days
  • Standard part, ordered material: 1-2 weeks
  • Complex part, first-run programming: 2-4 weeks
  • Production run, higher volume: 4-8 weeks

Timing depends on part complexity, material availability and quantity. Contact us with your specs and timeline and we'll provide a detailed estimate for your specific project.

Do you handle small-batch or prototype runs, or only production volume?

We work with businesses at every stage, from single prototype parts to small-batch runs to larger production quantities. Many of our best relationships start with a single prototype part; as your needs grow, we grow with you. If you're testing a design, validating a new product, or just need a small run done right, reach out and let's talk.

How do I get a quote?

Reach out with your part prints or specs, whether it's a formal drawing, a CAD file, or just a rough sketch and description of what you need. We'll review your requirements (material, tolerances, quantity and timeline) and get back to you with pricing and an estimated lead time.

Once you approve the quote: Programming → Setup → First-Article Inspection → Production → Final QA → Shipping. You'll have a clear point of contact throughout. No getting lost in a big shop's queue.

Why work with Truform instead of a large manufacturer?

With a larger manufacturer, your job can get lost in a queue behind bigger contracts, and you're often talking to account managers rather than the person actually running your part. With us, you're working directly with the team machining, programming and inspecting your work. That means clear communication, no middleman, and a team personally invested in getting it right.

We've also built the shop around modern software and equipment from day one, so you're not stuck with an outdated setup that struggles with complex geometries or tight tolerances. You get the technical capability of a larger operation with the responsiveness and attention to detail of a shop that treats every job like it matters, because it does.

What certifications or documentation do you provide with parts?

Every order goes through First-Article Inspection before production begins, in-process inspection throughout the run, and Final QA before shipping, so quality is checked at every stage, not just at the start and end. We can provide dimensional inspection reports, certificates of conformance and material certifications upon request. Let us know what documentation your project requires and we'll include it with your order.

What are your payment terms?

For new customers, we typically ask for 40% down to cover material, with the remaining 60% due on shipment. Established customers move to 2/10 Net 30. Terms for larger accounts are set at time of quoting. Final terms are always confirmed on your quote or order confirmation.
